App Feature : BR Contests

Few years back, I contributed to developing a feature for the IMBR app, which unfortunately is no longer available on the Play Store. My role primarily involved designing the entire feature, with support from other members of the design team. Initially, the product manager of the company conceptualized the feature, providing notes, briefs, and conducting research to suggest its implementation. After a meeting with the product manager, I began working on the feature.

The first step I took was to gain a clear understanding of the feature. Subsequently, I conducted a competitor analysis to evaluate the UI and user flow of similar apps. There were several rounds of iterations and feedback cycles before handing over the finalized design to the developers. The developers then worked on both the front end and back end of the feature.

Upon release, the feature received a positive response from users. Later, the idea gained traction, and the entire feature was given precedence, resulting in the creation of a standalone app dedicated solely to this feature.
